Celebrating Female Singers this Women's Day!

For International Women’s Day today, I have chosen to share songs by female singers because they are my favorite and empower me. Here are some of my favorite songs by female artists and why I love them.

Rihanna's “Love on the Brain"

I love this song because it sounds wonderful! This song makes me think about life and it makes me feel wonderful. I have created a dance to this song and I enjoy singing and dancing to it!

Norah Jones' “Don’t Know Why”

Norah Jones is the best! This is one of my favorite songs, and I listen to it a lot. When I hear this song, I think about love. I like to play the guitar and sing along to this song.

Whitney Houston's “I Will Always Love You”

I Will Always Love You reminds me of the people in my life that I love, which is one of the reasons why this song is important to me. Whitney Houston has a wonderful voice, and I love the message of this song. She is a great female singer!

Dolly Parton's “9 to 5”

This song is really nice! I think this song is fun, and I enjoy singing along to it. Dolly Parton is a singer and she has many songs. She is a talented female that I think about when I think of my favorite singers.

Mariah Carey's “Hero”

This song is another one of my favorites because it makes me feel happy! This is a slow song and it makes me feel relaxed when I sing it. I like Mariah Carey because she is nice and sings beautiful songs. I like the sound of her voice; it is so beautiful!

Pretty Please by Dua Lipa is a good song because it makes me want to dance. I have been dancing since I was very young and enjoy listening to songs that are groovy and make me feel like dancing.

Billie Eilish's “i love you”

This song helps me to remember that everything will be okay. I enjoy listening to this song because I can dedicate it to people I love. Love is beautiful and I feel lucky to have a lot of people to love.

Taylor Swift's “You Belong With Me”

This song is different and I like it because it mixes two genres: pop and country. Taylor Swift writes great lyrics! Her songs make me happy and are easy to listen to!

Olivia Rodrigo's “drivers license”

I like driver’s license because it is so sweet. Olivia Rodrigo has a good voice and I like to listen to her with Mary. This song reminds me of driving and I like riding in a car.

Adele's “Easy On Me”

This song is so wonderful because of the instruments and makes me want to sing. Adele has a really nice voice and it makes me feel happy. Adele writes a lot of songs about love and that makes me feel good.

I like to listen to songs by women because girls just want to have fun! You can listen to the playlist of these songs too. Happy International Women's Day!
